PARKING TIPS FOR LABOR DAY
The Zoo's front parking lot is free,
but parking is limited so we encourage you to carpool or
take TARC if at all possible and come early.
Visit
www.ridetarc.org to
access TARC's website and route/schedule information. Please
note that the #43 Poplar Level service goes directly
to the Zoo
on holidays.
SATELLITE PARKING
Free satellite parking with free
special TARC shuttles (handicapped accessible) is available
at the following location. Shuttles will run on a
regular basis from 10:15 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Pick-ups
will be made every 10-15 minutes (depending on local traffic
conditions).
Derby City Ballfield (located behind
the Zoo)
Take Poplar Level Road to Taylor Avenue and follow
signs.
Notice: Road closings - Russell &
Grenade between Poplar Level and Illinois Avenue plus
Illinois Avenue between Taylor Avenue and Trevilian Way are
closed to through traffic. (Special access passes are issued
to homeowners on these streets.) |
