The Louisville Zoo supports more than 83% of our operational budget
through self-generated income, which includes donations from Zoo-goers
like you —so thank you! There are a number of ways you can help support
your Zoo’s conservation education efforts and other ongoing needs. For
example, we invite you to give the gift of…
…Animal food and enrichment by supporting the
Annual Fund. As you can imagine, feeding and
caring for animals such as Rita, Otis, and Qannik—our growing bear
cubs—and the other 1,700 animals at your Zoo can be quite expensive. This year’s Annual Fund goal of $190,000 helps support these costs. Please consider making a donation at any level to help us reach our
goal.
…Remembrance or recognition with a
Memorial or Tribute
contribution. Want to pay tribute
to a special person in your life or pay your respects in a meaningful
way? Memorial and tribute opportunities include name placement on
garden bricks, benches in the beautiful Etscorn Garden; and ceramic
leaves, butterflies or birds on the Tree of Life display in the Islands
area.
…In-kind goods or services to fulfill our
Wish List needs. We are continually in need of goods and services to
support the animal enrichment and care our Zoo keepers provide each and
