Employee
Seasonal employment runs through October 31. (Seasonal positions do not qualify for vacation, sick, health or
retirement benefits through the Louisville Zoo, Louisville Metro.)

All jobs work with the public: Gift Shop, Admissions, Membership (Zoo Service Clerk), Guest Services (Zoo Service Worker and
Tram Driver), Horticulture (Zoo Aide)
Hourly Rate: $7.25
Employee Requirements:

Must be a minimum
age of 16
-
Must be flexible
to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
-
Some seasonal jobs
require you to be 18 years of age and to possess a valid driver's
license
-
Must be able to
speak, hear and see clearly for communicating with guests, staff and for safety
reasons
-
Must be able to
work in inclement weather
-
Must be able to
walk 1.5 miles several times a day
-
Must be able to
lift and carry 25 lbs. (Some areas may require you to lift up to 50
lbs.)

Tram
drivers must be 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
