Hours of Operation
The Louisville Zoo is open year-round.
Closed only on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Days.
September - February:
10:00 am - 4:00 pm (exit by 5:00 p.m.)
March - Labor Day:
10:00 am - 5:00 pm (exit by 6:00 p.m.)
Summer Evening Hours

Carousel does not run at all when temperatures are below 45 degrees.

A drivers' license/photo ID is required to finalize the rental at
the Zoo.)

Louisville Zoo accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express at all
Admission Windows, gift shops and in the African Outpost restaurant.
Discover Card is accepted at all admission windows also.
Zoo's Location
The Louisville Zoo is
easy to find and just 15 minutes from downtown Louisville, KY, easily
accessible from I-64 and I-65. Take I-264 (Watterson
Expressway) to Poplar Level Road exit #14 and travel north. Follow
the black and white zoo signs to 1100
Trevilian Way.
