Spring is Here!

Now through Labor Day, the Zoo is open 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (exit by 6 p.m.) 

Summer Twilight Hours

Thursday-Saturday, June and July, the Zoo is open until 7 p.m. (stay until 8 p.m.). Non-members can enter for just $5 admission after 5 p.m. Enjoy Twilight Meal Deals and special on summer treats like ice cream, ICEE frozen drinks and other concession items.

Name the Baby Zebra

We need your help to name our baby Hartmann's mountain zebra. Submit your favorite name from May 13 - May 26. Zebra baby naming contest sponsored by Floyd Memorial Birthing Center.

  • The Zoo Train is not currently running

  • The Zoo will close early on June 8 to set-up for its Annual Zoofari! fundraiser. Guests can enter until 2 p.m. and stay until 3 p.m.
  • School field trips are heaviest 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in May and early June while schools are in session.
