The Louisville Zoo
invites you to become a partner in sponsoring one of the
special attractions, treat booths or marketing promotions at "The
World’s Largest Halloween Party!" presented by Meijer. The event is
designed to enhance our young visitors’ experience as they trick or treat
through the Zoo. Larger-than-life storybook attractions provide
opportunities for clever and appropriate co-branding. We feature a not-to-scary theme for youngsters.

If you are a fan of the green ogre, you will enjoy this magical land with

Pirate’s Cove
A 60 ft. Pirate Ship is
located at the edge of the Pirate’s Cove. Listen and you will hear the
Yo-Ho-Ho… of Captain Hook and his crew as they prepare for battle with the
tic-tic-tock of the Croc. Peter Pan, Wendy and the Lost Boys are on
hand as we recreate NeverNever Land. On certain nights Captain Jack
Sparrow and members of his crew stop by.
Astro Disco
Dance to the beat of an out-of-this-world "Disco just for kids!"
Mumpkin the Pumpkin
A giant-sized live, talking pumpkin greets our visitors at the Zoo entrance.
Candyland
Hear the Candy Man singing about Candy Land, a larger than life-size version
of the popular children’s game. Complete with Lollipops, Candy Canes and
sweets galore!
Pumpkinville, USA - It's the Great
Pumpkin!
Over 4 tons of pumpkins, hay bales and corn fodders are set on a hillside of
decorated, lit pumpkins for a scenic photo backdrop with the Peanuts gang.
The Spooktacular Haunted Carousel
Take a ride on the Haunted Carousel that goes backwards.
Three Little Pigs
Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? He'll huff and he'll puff and blow
your house down. Kids trick or treat to each pigs' house and meet the
Big Bad Wolf.
Storybook Land
The Cow Jumped over the Moon, Lil' Miss Muffet and the Ol'Woman in the Shoe
- your favorite nursery
rhymes come to life. Meet your favorite costume characters too!
Super Hero City
Meet your favorite super
heroes. Great photo spot!

Placed throughout the Halloween route, trick or treaters
visit each booth to receive special treats. Each station is themed for
the nearby attraction.
