Outpost Playground
Parents can relax while kids expend some of their endless energy at this playground with age-appropriate equipment.  Located near the African Outpost Restaurant.
   
  Billabong Playabout
Located in the Australian Area near Lorikeet Landing and Wallaroo Walkabout, the Billabong Playabout is the Zoo's newest children's play area.  Kids will love all the age-appropriate equipment
 
   
Yum! Brands Foundation Children’s Train Garden
Kids of all ages love the Zoo’s newest garden in and around the outdoor pond in the Islands Area.  The train set up features 160 linear feet of model train track, G-scale model trains (each car is about the size of a king-sized loaf of bread), tunnels, a bamboo bridge and lots of beautiful plants.
   
Glacier Run Splash Park
This naturally themed water play area has 42 unique ways for kids to get as wet as they want!  It includes a fishing boat to climb on, dump buckets, jelly jet launchers, mini water slides and much more.  Designed with safe family fun in mind, it's a really cool place to beat the heat.  (Open late spring - mid fall.)   Check back for 2008 dates.
   
Scavenger Hunts and Door Prize Games
We can help you entertain your guests with prepared Seek & Find materials that have them searching the Zoo for fun and educational tidbits. You can also customize a Scavenger Hunt for your group and we can recommend items at the Zoo's gift shop for prizes.  Print out these free worksheets to compliment your trip.

Optional fee-based activities

These activities are available for all our guests in the Zoo. Ask your Group Sales representative about an amenities package customized for your group. The Zoo's all inclusive admission plus ride tickets and picnics are available for groups of 100 or more and is your Best Value.

   

ZooTram and Yum! Express Train
Travel in comfort and in style when you ride the ZooTram or Yum! Express ZooTrain around the Zoo.

Train Regular Rate - $2.50 per ride. 
Tram Regular Rate - $2.00 for all day ridership.

Conservation Carousel
Take a ride on this beautiful antique carousel.  Located near the front plaza. 

Regular Rate:  $1.50

   
Morphis Simulator
This full motion simulator offers a truly unique virtual experience. Located near the MetaZoo stage.

Lorikeet Feeding
Continuously at Lorikeet Landing when temperatures are 45 degrees or above.  Nectar may be purchased at the exhibit for $1 per cup.

Activate the story boxes located throughout the Zoo with your ZooKey available at gift shops and concession stands for just $3.   (Visit any one of our Gift Shops for details.)
   
PhotoSafari
Have you or your family photographed against a green screen and then superimposed to show you swimming with the polar bears, playing with the gorillas or daring to put your head in the lion’s mouth.  Prices and scenes vary.
