UK Alumni Association presents
Garden Talk for the First Timer

If you’ve ever thought you’d like to try your hand at gardening but didn’t know how to take the first step, this is the perfect program for you!

Join 84WHAS Radio and Wave 3 Gardening Expert Cindi Sullivan, Jefferson County Extension Agent for Horticulture Donna Michael, and Louisville Zoo Director John Walczak, for a repeat performance of last year’s popular Garden Talk for the First Timer.

Come learn the how and why of planting a garden and reap the rewards of tasting the fruits of your labor come summer. Whether you want a few spring blooms, a couple of tomato plants or aspire to a large formal garden, this presentation will help you get started.

The event will be held in the Gheens Room at the Islands Pavilion

Admission $10 per person, Free to Members of the Louisville Zoo and UK Alumni Association

Please RSVP to (502) 562-5728 or tanya.jones@imgworld.com

Fun Fact: The Louisville Zoo is an accredited botanical garden, designated as such by the American Association of Museums.
