School Field Trips & Programs
The Louisville Zoo serves as a living classroom, helping students of
all ages develop an appreciation for and sense of responsibility toward
the treasure of animal and plant life on our earth.
The Zoo’s Education Department is staffed by professional educators
who provide “hands-on”, “minds-on” experiences that are engaging as well
as scientifically accurate. These classes are very popular and
reservations should be made early.
