Dare to Care
Food Drive & Admission Discount

(Not valid for Santa's Safari)

The Louisville Zoo is teaming up with Dare to Care Food Bank offering a special discounted Zoo admission November 1, 2012 through February 28, 2013 if guests participate in a canned food drive.

To date, the Zoo has collected 16,000 pounds of food thanks to the generosity of its visitors. This year we hope to reach 20,000 pounds total.

To receive a $5 discount on regular adult or child Zoo admission, visitors must bring one canned good per person and present it at the Zoo’s ticket window from November 1 through February 28.* The offer is valid for regular daytime admission and not for Santa’s  Safari, other special fee-based programs, for pre-paid groups of 15 or more or with other discounts. School groups wishing to participate by donating food items will receive a $5 admission rate. (No refunds provided on pre-paid advance or online tickets.)

* Ask a Zoo cashier about the Dare to Care Adventure Ticket which includes Zoo admission plus a ticket to the 4-D Theater. (Nov. 1 - Feb. 28). For details on the 4-D Theater and featured experiences, click here.
