Storybook character Madeline to headline
Zoo’s 40th birthday beach party July 17
 

The charmingly impetuous, irrepressible, mischievous and precocious storybook character Madeline will help celebrate the Louisville Zoo’s 40th birthday at the upcoming Family Twilight Beach Party on July 17 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Beach parties are held at the Calistoga Splash Park at Glacier Run and Walkabout Café. Admission to the Zoo is just $5 per person after 5 p.m. on July 17 compliments of National City now part of PNC. Members enter free as a benefit of their membership. (Zoo exhibits are open until 8 p.m.)

Children can participate in fun birthday games like pin the candle on the cake, birthday cake piñata and pass the present (our version of hot potato). Also be sure to bring your camera so you can capture memorable photos with the utterly fearless Madeline.

The next Family Twilight Beach Party courtesy of National City now part of PNC will be held on August 21 featuring Pablo from Nickelodeon’s Backyardigans.
