Marvel Super Hero Wolverine headlines
Zoo’s May 31 Health & Safety Safari
A Super Hero with animal-keen senses
will visit the Louisville Zoo on May 31 as part of Becker Law
Office’s Health & Safety Safari. Zoo visitors can meet
Wolverine, the Marvel character who is currently in a new movie
on the big screen, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Zoo Vision
building. So don’t forget your camera!
Kids and families will also be able to
learn about human and animal safety at various stations
throughout the Zoo which will feature organizations like the
American Red Cross and St. Joseph Children’s
Home.
New York Life Insurance Company will
host a Safety ID station for kids and give away free safety ID
kits to families. Animal Gambill’s Critter Crusade, a non-profit
organization whose goal is to mutually enhance the lives of
animals and their human companions, will be holding fun
activities for kids. Wolter Chiropractic will be on hand
conducting MyoVision tension tests, and the S.N.I.P. Clinic, a
low-cost spay and neuter center for owned pets, will be handing
out clinic information.
Visitors who pick up a special
“passport” bookmark at the Becker Law Office booth will be able
to have it specially stamped at the various stations throughout
the Zoo. Once all stamps are collected, the bookmark can be
shown at the Zoo exit for a special giveaway.
Health and Safety Safari, presented by
Becker Law Office, is also made possible by support from E.ON
U.S., New York Life Insurance Company and Wolter Chiropractic.
